Cronimet Fagersta AB is one of Sweden's leading companies for handling, process and deliver high quality stainless and high alloy scrap. Our products are today an important raw material in the production of stainless steel in Avesta and Sandviken, among others. Cronimet Fagersta was founded 1985 and today has one of Europe's most modern facilities for handling mainly stainless and high-alloy scrap, but also some ferroalloys and metals. For chip scrap there is a briquette plant where turning chips are pressed into a compact and durable briquette, free from oils and cutting fluids. 2005 expanding operations with the subsidiaries Cronimet Norr AB in Luleå and Kalix, then Cronimet Piteå AB (is now part of Cronimet Norr), Cronimet Skellefteå AB and Cronimet Umeå AB . Cronimet Fagersta AB holds an Environmental Certificate ISO14001 and is a member of Svenska Järn.
