Why TissEco?

“When a man is hungry, it is better to teach him how to fish than to give him a fish. '

2,500 years have passed since these famous words of the Chinese philosopher Confucius, yet they have never been so relevant. It is on the basis of this premise that TissEco Solidaire was born.

Aspiring to solidarity, the association centralizes the distinct skills of multiple actors around its two vocations: social reintegration through work and textile recycling.

Its mission is based on this double valuation:

On a human level: valuing a life course and multiple skills with a view to positive reintegration work.

On the environmental level: the recovery of TLC (textiles-linen-shoes), still too often treated as waste by local communities.
