Plastrec GmbH was founded in 2004 with the purpose of receiving and processing commercial plastic waste by means of thermal recycling. Today there is much more to it than that; with our activities we make a major contribution to combating the waste of raw materials such as oil and coal. Reduce mountains of waste in landfills and ensure that residues do not end up in an incinerator.

WHAT WE DO

Environmentally friendly disposal is on everyone's lips today. But it is precisely when it comes to disposal that there is a sin like hardly anywhere else. We at Plastrec GmbH are the largest retailer of substitute fuel (RDF) compatible plastics in Switzerland and are committed to sustainable disposal. We contribute to the preservation of raw material reserves through professional and environmentally friendly handling of plastics. In this way, we extend the life cycles, obtain secondary materials and reduce energy costs and harmful emissions that arise during incineration. In addition, we make an active contribution to reducing the global waste mountain.
