Recycled Nijar SL was born as a consequence of the very serious problem posed by the dumping of plastic waste from greenhouses (recyclers kept the Níjar TM as a supply pantry).
Concerned about the situation created, the Níjar City Council promoted the creation of the company Recycled Nijar SL ., To solve the serious problem and for this it had the collaboration of two entrepreneurs from the municipality, who would become partners of the company. One of them was the administrator or owner of the company who was in charge of collecting the greenhouse plastic waste, upon payment of 6,000 pesetas per hectare to a bank. The decision was totally wrong, because the management was disastrous, in the first months of the beginning of the activity, the accumulated losses were already enormous.
The Níjar City Council was no longer only faced with the problem of plastic waste, but also with having to take over the debts of the company, which was bankrupt. It is possible to find a partner, D. Manuel López, who is willing to undertake the challenge and after separating the previous partners and many other vicissitudes, it starts again in March 1998, which is when it can be considered that Recycled Nijar SL begins or is born
