Here in the Kinzigtal, in the beautiful Black Forest, a region where many people go on vacation, we maintain this longstanding tradition of responsible treatment of the environment and our nature. That is why Köhler Pappen relies on recycling in its production. 

We value maximum efficiency in the use of energy, raw materials and all other resources. This creates less waste and protects the environment. 

Measures that go beyond the legal requirements are checked for their feasibility as part of our environmental guidelines before they are implemented. 

These measures ensure the company's continued existence in the long term.

All products from Albert Köhler GmbH & Co. KG are made from 100% recycled paper. This requires huge amounts of waste paper, which we have to purchase from other branches of industry.

The energy required for processing the cardboard is obtained from our own production process, our electricity and steam generation.

The water required for this also comes from our own cycle and is filtered in the sewage treatment plant, which was newly installed in 2010, and fed back into the fresh water cycle.
