Alfredo Mesalles, SA (AMSA) is a leading company in the recovery of tires and vulcanized and unvulcanized rubber waste. It has been dedicated to this activity since 1945 and in 1980 it installed a recycling plant for end-of-life tires (NFU) for the manufacture, by means of a mechanical crushing process, of rubber pellets and powder in different granulometries, which are used both in the construction as in various industrial applications.
The range of products, in addition to those mentioned, includes regenerated of various qualities, compounds and other rubber raw materials, operating in the national market and exporting to various European countries and other continents.
Starting in 1990, the comprehensive collection of NFU and industrial rubber waste has been promoted in order to make the most of them and thus minimize the environmental impact, thus contributing to improving the environment.
