Poninka Cardboard and Paper Factory

The first written mention of the Poninka cardboard and paper factory dates back to 1787. Decades ago, it was a powerful enterprise with a range of more than 150 products, including for strategic industries - space and military, and every third student wrote on notebooks made at the Poninka factory. After a period of decline and shutdown, in 2012, with the arrival of a new investor, the factory began to rebuild and increase production capacity. In August 2020, 8,000 tons of paper and cardboard and 9,000,000 m2 of corrugated products were produced.
