The stag story

Company history from 1966 to today

1966

Egon Hirsch founds the cleaning company Krückemeyer & Hirsch together with his colleague. The first cleaning machines replace muscle power and create space for new fields of activity: In 1971, the company's own metal wholesaling company was established, followed by the Egon Hirsch footpath cleaning company the following summer. The Hirsch company continues to grow on these two pillars.

1987

Son Uwe joins the company, in 1990 his brother Jürgen. The corporate philosophy is changing more and more from purely pavement cleaning to ecological and resource-conserving disposal and recycling management. A sign of this change in values ​​is the change of name to Hirsch Bremerreinigung und Recycling GmbH in 1996.

1993

The family company moves into the new building at Hermann-Funk-Straße 6, and in 2002 property no. 9 is added. 30 employees work in the areas of building and footpath cleaning, metal wholesale and container service. In 2004 the 'friendly' takeover of Life GmbH followed, which expanded the company to include electrical and electronic scrap disposal. In 2005, a new property was bought for this at Hermann-Funk-Straße 7. Discarded computers, electrical devices and entire industrial systems are broken down into their components and sent for recycling.

2008

The range of services is expanded to include plastics recycling.

2011

With a revised, fresh and modern design, our company meets the requirements of a technical development that no longer knows waste, but only raw materials for reintegration into the recycling cycle of an ecologically oriented economy. Hirsch GmbH now consists of 10 different competence areas, with a total of 110 employees, who combine to form a large, effective competence network.
