IDI was created in 1980 by Mike Gilbert and Stu Johnson to market intermodal and over-the-road services. We steadily grew that business over the years and then added a regional truck fleet to expand our service offerings.

Today, IDI is a leading freight forwarding company with more than 80 employees. Even with our growth, we are the same family owned and run business we have been for more than 30 years. And we pride ourselves in the longstanding relationships we have with employees, vendors and customers throughout North America. That is the dedication you’ll experience with IDI.
