Our History:

Veluwse Metaal Recycling, better known by others as scrap iron and metal dealer Ammie de Vries, is a real family business and has been around for more than 50 years. Then Derk de Vries, Ammie's great-grandfather, started his activities in the city of Apeldoorn. Derk did this work on his bicycle. Of course we do not have to tell you that this was very difficult because everything was done by hand. Later, the work was taken over by his son Kees and his grandson Ammie, who made sure that the bicycle was exchanged for a small truck. The clientele got bigger and bigger.

And since April 16, 2010, everyone's dream came true. On the industrial estate of Epe, a beautiful piece of land with industrial hall was purchased, which meets all current requirements. Since that day, hardware store Ammie de Vries changed into Veluwse Metaal Recycling .
