Eccomelt is a wholly owned subsidiary of the House of Metals, a market leader in metal recycling and aluminum scrap processing since 1953. Company headquarters are based in Toronto, Canada, with a network of distributors around the globe.Eccomelt LLC has been a market leader in the production of a prime substitute for A356.2 since 2006. Our latest state of the art production facility in Manchester, Georgia, serves the southeast market, Mexico, and Europe.

The continuity of three generations in our parent company, House of Metals, has allowed us to develop unprecedented industry knowledge, and astute insights into the metals market. Eccomelt is the latest success story stemming from this deep industry knowledge and experience.

Eccomelt has developed a patented revolutionary process that produces a specification alloy from aluminum wheels at a lower cost than traditional methods and that meets that EPA definition of CLEAN CHARGE.Eccomelt ships products to foundries within North America including the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and worldwide, such as France, Ireland, Italy, Serbia, and Spain.

Eccomelt356.2 has similar characteristics to primary aluminum but with many significant advantages including:

• Chemically pure and environmentally friendly
• Environmental testing has proven the process eliminates all surface pollutants
• Produces a shred with <.05% organics
• Shred has higher melting rates than Ingot, Sow or T-Bar

Our Vision

Our revolutionary product, Eccomelt356.2, was developed as a counterbalance to the steady rise in the price of aluminum and an industry need to identify substitute products. In response to this growing global requirement for new energy efficient and cost effective ways to process metals, and due to its strategic partnership with Alcan R&D, Eccomelt356.2 was developed as a direct substitute for A356.2 ingot, sow or T-bar.
