McLeod Aggregates was formed in 2013 to take over the processing site at Bittering formerly owned and operated by Tarmac. The McLeod family had already been supplying gravel to the Bittering Plant and with over 1.5 million tonne of reserves, it seemed a wise decision. The operation of McLeod Aggregates is very different to the big national companies as the owners are hands on and very contactable.
