From personal experience from moves and estate sales we realize that selling, donating and disposing of unwanted items is time-consuming and cumbersome. Issues like figuring out what can be sold and for what price, figuring out where to sell the different items, coordinating with the buyers, taking items to donation and finding a way to responsibly discard unsellable items is a huge time commitment (on average 4 hours per item) that usually leads to selling items for a low price, putting everything in storage ($$) or, even worse, sending everything to the dump.
