South Devon Grab Hire Ltd

South Devon Grab Hire is owned by David Gorton who previously helped to run the family firm Gortons Haulage Limited.

David Gorton joined Gorton Haulage Limited in 1989; a family run tipper hire company based in Newton Abbot and operated commercial haulage vehicles all over south Devon. At its height they operated nine vehicles which were four and six wheel tipper lorries.

Gorton Haulage was a very successful business with many happy customers. We prided ourselves on our reliable, helpful and friendly service. Gorton haulage ceased trading in 2012 when David was involved in a land restoration project; which has now been completed.

David has now returned to the haulage industry with South Devon Grab Hire and plans to operate the same reliable friendly service to customers new and old.
