MEM Recycling

MEM Recycling is developing its own material processing  solutions  for carpet recycling which involves both single shaft and double shaft shredders.  We are discovering interesting solutions which result in higher material processing rates (t/hr) and lower specific energy costs  (£/t)

Based on this work and a wealth of experience  gained in other industrial sectors also, including mining and materials handling, we are well positioned to identify process improvements and benefits.

Recycling and size reduction processes are invariably energy intensive.  By  analysing  the way electrical power is being used in the drive motors of conveyors, feeders, grinders, shredders and granulators we can identify the available energy and cost savings.

Some of the financial benefits arise from improved motor efficiency and making sure that the working cycle of the motor is optimised.  Benefits often arise also from higher plant productivity and reduced wear and tear.
