ENGAGEMENT

MOUNTAIN FOREST

The non-profit association Bergwaldprojekt eV has been organizing work assignments with volunteers to protect and preserve forest ecosystems in Germany and Europe since 1987. The work assignments offer the opportunity to get directly and actively involved in protecting our forests. The fascination of the forest as a habitat is experienced directly and awareness of the dangers to forest ecosystems and the need for environmentally friendly behavior is promoted.

These arguments convinced the RTK to decide in favor of the mountain forest project and to support it with a sponsoring membership.

YOUTH FACILITY AT STUTENSEE CASTLE

Stutensee Castle is a child and youth welfare facility. The palace complex is located around 10 km north of Karlsruhe in a scenic location. Boys and girls are admitted who, due to development deficits, socially-related behavioral disorders and impaired performance, need care and educational assistance. Experienced educators, teachers, curative teachers, social workers and therapists are committed to this.

The RTK supports the youth facility Schloss Stutensee with a sponsorship for the professional preparation group landscape maintenance.

POLONIA EV FORUM OF POLISH CULTURE IN KARLSRUHE

The RTK supports the Polonia eV Karlsruhe financially in the form of a donation. The aim of the association is to promote international attitudes, tolerance in all areas of social coexistence, culture and the idea of ​​international understanding. This purpose is intended in particular through cultural exchange within the meaning of the treaty between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Poland on good neighbors and friendly cooperation of June 17, 1991 and in particular through ideal and material support for companies in the field of art, youth exchanges and German - Polish cultural encounters.

MONTESSORI KINDERHAUS KARLSRUHE

RTK-Karlsruhe GmbH supports the Montessori Kinderhaus financially in the form of a monetary donation. In addition, we support and accompany the introduction of the children to the topic of waste and recycling during the waste weeks and beyond. We have provided a waste paper bin for this purpose and are using the practical example of waste paper to show a closed recycling cycle. In this way, we are already sensitizing the generation of tomorrow today and are actively involved in sustainable development, for a sustainable society of tomorrow.

RESOURCE-EFFICIENT AND CLIMATE-NEUTRAL BUSINESS OPERATIONS

With the qualification at the VDI Resource Efficiency Center of the national climate protection initiative of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, we have taken the first steps towards resource efficiency for our company. In addition to our resource consumption, we strive to reduce our CO2 emissions.

The Paris Climate Agreement aims for a climate-neutral world in the second half of the century. To be more precise: The compensation of CO2 emissions and CO2 integration. Together with PRIMAKLIMA, RTK-Karlsruhe GmbH has made its internal business operations climate-neutral since 2012 and offset the internal CO2 emissions several times.
