MEGATEX LLC was founded in 1993 as the enterprise manufacturing lead and lead alloys. For the present day MEGATEX LLC is one of the biggest manufacturers of high-quality branded lead and lead alloys on the territory of CIS and European countries, and also one of the leading manufacturers of lead-acid starter batteries in Europe. The enterprise works on the three main interconnected directions: Manufacturing of lead and lead alloys; Manufacturing of starter accumulator batteries; Recycling of used accumulator batteries Manufacturing of lead and lead alloys. The regular consumers of the products are the biggest enterprises of mining and smelting, chemical, machine-building, food industries, fuel and energy complex, maritime and railway transport. Also the enterprise delivers its products to the Ukrainian and European accumulator manufacturing enterprises. Manufacturing of starter accumulator batteries In 2004 the investment project as for the organization of starter accumulator batteries was launched In 2006 the new workshop was fully introduced into operation. In this period the newest plant was built completed with the equipment of the leading suppliers of accumulator branch. Our products are presented by the accumulator batteries of all dimension types and capacities for passenger cars and for trucks of European as well as Asian manufacturers. Recycling of used accumulator batteries Creation and functioning of the accumulator batteries recycling division allows for the first time in Ukraine to solve the questions of ecologically safe handling with used lead-acid accumulators from which the electrolyte was not poured out and, besides, to solve the questions of sharp reducing of the level of influence on the environment caused by metallurgical enterprises which manufacture lead and lead alloys on the basis of metal components of used batteries.
