Strong Gold Output Drives AngloGold Ashanti’s Record Q3 2025 Cash Flow
This notable increase was primarily driven by Sukari’s inclusion and the continued ramp-up at Obuasi mine in Ghana.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): AngloGold Ashanti plc has announed robust financial and operational results for the third quarter of 2025, driven by higher gold production, improved mine performance, and strong cash generation.
The company’s gold production surged 17% year-on-year to 768,000 ounces in Q3 2025, compared to 657,000 ounces in the same quarter last year. The increase was largely attributed to enhanced contributions from the Sukari mine and stronger performance at key operations including Obuasi, Kibali, Geita, and Cuiabá.
Production from managed operations rose 16% year-on-year, reaching 682,000 ounces, up from 586,000 ounces in Q3 2024. AngloGold noted that the inclusion of Sukari and the continued ramp-up of the Obuasi mine in Ghana were major growth drivers.
