New recycle drop-offs for unwanted electronics placed in Columbia County
The drop-offs accept electronics like phones, computers, and small devices, keeping potentially hazardous waste out of landfills.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Columbia County residents have an easy way to recycle old electronics thanks to a new partnership between Mamoth and Fought's Disposal Services, Inc.
The companies have placed two e-waste drop-off bins in Bloomsburg and Berwick so that individuals can dispose of unwanted tech responsibly.
The two drop-off bins are in these locations:
Fought’s Disposal Services, Inc. — 2705 Snyder Ave., Bloomsburg, Pa. 17815
Fought’s Disposal Services Satellite Location — 123 W. 11th Street, Berwick, Pa. 18603
The drop-offs accept electronics like phones, computers, and small devices, keeping potentially hazardous waste out of landfills.
“We’re excited to make sustainable tech recycling more accessible for local residents,” said Cody Meredick, CRO of Mamoth, “By partnering with Fought’s Disposal, we’re making it easier for everyone to take part in protecting our environment.”
Mamoth's recycling program includes advanced sustainability tracking, reporting the total weight of items recycled by category. This data collection measures environmental impact, supports ESG goals, and helps communities qualify for state and green funding opportunities.
