BASF to Highlight the Sustainable Future of Plastics at K 2025

Additionally, BASF will feature products for which fossil resources are replaced with renewable feedstock at the beginning of the production process.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Germany-based leading chemical company BASF will highlight the sustainable future of plastics at the trade fair K 2025 to be held in the western German city of Dusseldorf from 8-15th October, 2025.

By highlighting its dedication to the plastics industry by encouraging sustainability and innovation, the firm hopes to highlight the continued success of its global campaign #OurPlasticsJourney. According to the K-Preview news conference, BASF will exhibit specially designed, cutting-edge industry applications and highlight its advancements in circularity across many industries and enterprises at the exhibition.

BASF has released rPCF, a reduced PCF product line that promises considerable PCF improvements using renewable electricity and steam in the production process. This builds on the LowPCF and ZeroPCF portfolios that were presented in 2022. BASF claims that the rPCF products give clients the ability to alter the carbon impact of their goods.

Furthermore, BASF will provide goods that start the production process with sustainable feedstock instead of fossil fuels.

Live seminars will be held at BASF's fair booth to bring together partners, customers, and industry voices to discuss the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
