Nucor Announced Top Executive Leadership Appointments
Mr. Batterbee started his career with the company in 1989 at Nucor Building Systems Indiana.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Nucor Corporation announced appointments to top executive positions.
Thomas J. Batterbee has been elevated to the role of Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Talent, per a recent news release from the business. Additionally, the newly formed role of President of Human Resources and Talent has been filled by Elizabeth Bledsoe. It further stated that each of the aforementioned appointments will take effect on May 11, 2025.

In 1989, Mr. Batterbee began working for the company at Nucor Building Systems Indiana. He was elevated to Nucor Building Systems Texas's General Manager in 2007. He later held the positions of General Manager at Nucor Steel South Carolina, Nucor Buildings Group Utah, and Vulcraft New York. As of 2023, he is the President of the Vulcraft/Verco Group.
The most recent position Ms. Bledsoe held was that of Chief People Officer and Senior Vice President of Human Resources at MSC Industrial Direct Co., Inc. In 2015, she began working at MSC. She had previously worked in a variety of human resources capacities at Ingersoll-Rand plc from 1996 until 2015.
