The recently launched recycle-by-mail technology boxes program by Best Buy has turned out to be a huge success. The customers can order a small box for $23 dollars, which holds up to 6 pounds of e-waste or a medium box for $30 dollars, which carries up to 15 pounds. They need to fill them with old electronics for disposal and drop off at any UPS store for proper recycling.

The Staples in-store e-waste recycling program, which was on hold during the pandemic, has restarted. The program has helped to recycle more than 165 million pounds of e-waste over the past decade.

John Shegerian, Co-founder, Chairman and CEO of ERI noted that the company is grateful to Best Buy and Staples for taking proactive steps to keep e-waste out of landfills. It is an honor and privilege to partner with such iconic and forward thinking brands to provide its customers a safe and responsible way to recycle their unwanted electronic items, he added.
