National Timber Group to Expand Midlands Footprints Through Acquisition

The customers of SV Timber will now have access to a broader range of products and services.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): National Timber Group (NTG) announced acquisition of assets of SV Timber Ltd, which in turn will expand the company’s presence in the Midlands. The acquisition is part of NTG’s attempts to become the largest, independent, specialist timber processing and distribution group within the UK. SV Timber will fill a geographic gap in NTG’s existing branch network.

Established in 2004, SV Timber is a specialist, independent timber merchant supplying an extensive range of timber materials to a broad range of trade and commercial customers. It has three branches across the Midlands.

According to company press release, the former Directors of SV Timber will remain in the business and work closely with NTG in order to ensure a smooth integration into the Group and to realise the full potential of the opportunities offered by the partnership. The customers of SV Timber will now have access to a broader range of products and services.

Patrick Guest, National Timber Group Managing Director for England noted that it is absolutely delighted to welcome SV Timber to the Group. Together, both the companies will extend the range of services and capability in the region, thereby delivering improved customer experience, he added.
