U.S. Steel Honored with Prestigious 'Best Place to Work' Award

The company also earned the Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality designation for second year in a row.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The Pittsburgh-based United States Steel Corporation (U.S. Steel) announced that it has earned the topmost rating on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2021 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), which measures LGBTQ workplace equality. The company also earned the Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality designation for second year in a row.

According to the company press release, the efforts to satisfy all of CEI’s criteria gave it a 100% ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality. It had carried out extensive works to prioritize and improve workplace equality. It had enhanced its employee benefits and expanded employee resource groups.
