Electronics Recycling Events Back With A Bang
There will be a fee of $20 for all televisions, $10 for old tube CRT computer monitors, and $5 for microwaves and exercise equipment.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Electronics recycling events to help residents dispose of their unwanted electronics, are back with a bang following several months of halt on account the pandemic spread.
The Beaufort County Department of Solid Waste and Recycling announced that it will host two free electronics recycling events. The events will be held 9AM to 3PM at Beaufort County Public Works, 9 Benton Field Road, Bluffton and Beaufort County Public Works, 140 Shanklin Road, Beaufort. The event will accept personal computers, laptops, CRT monitors, LCD monitors, CRT televisions, non-CRT televisions, printers, hard drives and miscellaneous electronics including microwaves, cell phones, radios, fax machines, and typewriters.
The Whitewater City Council, Wisconsin will host a citywide electronics event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, which will be held in Parking Lot B on West Whitewater Street, across from the train depot and Cravath Lakefront. The acceptable items include computers, televisions, small appliances, gaming systems, telephones and more. There will be a fee of $20 for all televisions, $10 for old tube CRT computer monitors, and $5 for microwaves and exercise equipment.
