NY E-Waste Recycler Announces Opening of New Satellite Facility

The new facility will offer end-of-life electronics recycling services as well as secure data destruction services to local businesses.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Sunnking, Inc., New York’s fastest-growing electronics recycler announced opening of its new satellite facility.

The new facility, located at 272 Oriskany Blvd.,Whitesboro, New York, will serve customers in the Central New York and Capital regions. The facility is expected to create up to 15 new jobs within the first year of operation. The expansion comes at a time when the company celebrates its 20th year of operations.

The new facility will offer end-of-life electronics recycling services as well as secure data destruction services to local businesses. The site will also house an outlet for sale of refurbished electronics. The company plans to explore opportunities for refurbishment and resale, thereby extending product lifecycles.

Adam Shine, vice president of Sunnking noted that the satellite facility will help local businesses to make it easy for them to responsibly handle and dispose of all their unwanted electronics. The setting up of the facility provides the ability to expand throughout the state. The facility will employ certified e-waste handling techniques to serve more customers under the New York State e-waste law.

Initially formed in 2000 as a reseller of electronic equipment, Sunnking is New York’s first R2 RIOS certified e-waste recycling, data destruction and ITAD management company.
