Norbord's High Level OSB Mill Returns to Production
According to company press release, the mill was cleared to restart operations over the weekend.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Norbord Inc.- the world’s largest Oriented Strand Board (OSB) producer, announced that it has resumed production at its High Level, Alberta OSB mill, which was temporarily shut last week, following wildfires.
According to company press release, the mill was cleared to restart operations over the weekend, following lifting of mandatory evacuation order by MacKenzie County and evacuation alert by the town of High Level. Meantime, the MacKenzie County continues to remain under an evacuation alert, the press release noted.

The curtailment is not expected to cause significant material impacts on the company’s second quarter results.
