Japanese H2 scrap prices end September on a weaker note

The average price of Japanese H2 scrap declined sharply during fourth week of September.

TOKYO (Scrap Monster): The average price of Japanese H2 scrap declined further during the fourth week of September this year. The H2 scrap average prices have declined continuously during the months of August and September this year.

The average price of Japan H2 scrap in Kanto, Central and Kansai region was ¥ 15,473/ton during the fourth week of September. The prices edged lower by ¥ 853/ton from the previous week. The prices had averaged at ¥ 16,326/ton during the third week of September.

The average price of H2 scrap in Kanto region was ¥ 16,000/ton. The average price in Kanto region has dropped by ¥ 333/ton when compared with the previous week. The prices had averaged at ¥ 16,000/ton during the week before this.

The average H2 scrap price in Central region was ¥ 13,720/ton. The average prices in the region dropped by ¥ 600/ton when compared with the week before.

The H2 scrap average prices witnessed sharp decline in Kansai regions. The average price of H2 scrap in Kansai region during the fourth week of September was ¥ 16,700/ton, dropping sharply by ¥ 500/ton when compared with the previous week.
