A man who deals in scrap metal was shot on Thursday night after meeting with someone who said they wanted to sell some scrap
TAMPA (Scrap Monster): A man who deals in scrap metal was shot on Thursday night after meeting with someone who said they wanted to sell some scrap.
Tampa police are investigating the scene, near Florida Avenue and Gladys Street.
The victim was approached by three men and was shot several times.
He flagged down an ambulance and was transported to a hospital. His injuries are considered non life threatening.
Police have reason to believe the shooting was drug-related.
