Liberty Tire buys Target Technologies crumb rubber division

The division being sold includes Target’s former artificial sports field and running track markets, exclusively for ambient crumb rubber sales.

PITTSBURG (Scrap Monster): Liberty Tire Recycling LLC, a tire recycler in Pittsburgh, has purchased  crumb rubber sales division  of Target Technologies, based in Vancouver, B.C.

 The division being sold includes Target’s former artificial sports field and running track markets, exclusively for ambient crumb rubber sales.

In a release, John Giraud, Target’s managing director, says, “The timing couldn’t be better, as it will allow Target Technologies to focus on our rapidly developing residential and alternative markets.

 Liberty Tire is a leader in North American crumb rubber sales, and we are confident that they will continue to provide the same top-notch service to our long-time ambient clients.”
