We need ‘Find in India’ in order to ‘Make in India’ says Anil Agarwal

Anil Agarwal, the Chairman of Vedanta Resources, stated that, under the rule of Modi government, India is expected to be the best place to do Business, but unfortunately today, India is the worst place to do business.

NEW DELHI (Scrap Monster): The Chairman of one of the world’s leading resources group stated that, he is hopeful that, under the rule of Modi government, the business sector in the country would flourish in the country. He added that, the intentions of Modi Sarkar is tremendous. The government has a clear vision of increasing the  number of jobs, and inviting in investments and also initiating projects in the country. But all those desires have to be filtered. He stated that, the company had expected the change to happen quickly, but the government is taking its time to begin with the right framework and the right decisions. He had only positives to say about the Prime Minister of the country. He affirmed that, if in any way one meets the Prime Minister, he will be mesmerized with no doubt, and also stated that, he is into awakening the people. Agarwal also stated that, the Prime Minister assured that, he would support business development, which is a great assurance, not only for the company, but also many other businesses in the country. He added that there will be no more red tapes, but red carpets. And according to Agarwal, the Prime Minister definitely means what he says.

He stated that, even though in the period of six months there has not been any tremendous change, the government definitely has tremendous intention in them and also the huge willingness which is necessary to take the project forward. He added that, the government under Modi, had been showing great interest6 in ‘Make In India’. He stated that, along with this programme, the manufacturing sector is a need of a programme, ‘Find in India’. The import bill of current year for the country is about 550 billion dollars. If the companies will have to make in India, they will need to find the necessary resources in the country. With the current innovation money and also technology, the country will have to concentrate on bringing forward this idea.

He also stated that, the manufacturing sector based on the natural resources, is the fundamental sector in any of the counties. If we take a look into the IT or the pharmaceutical sector, they do not need such an amount of energy to flourish it, but the manufacturing sector is not same as that. He stated that, the government has to be highly involved in the manufacturing sector.
