Harmon Scrap Metal LLC has announced its decision to install new auto shredder at its 60-acre Cornersville, Tennessee scrap yard
WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster) : Harmon Scrap Metal LLC has announced its decision to install new auto shredder at its 60-acre Cornersville, Tennessee scrap yard. The construction work on the installation of the 3,400 hp Pulverizer 60x85 auto shredder is expected to start by early-2014. The company hopes to finish the installation and launch the new auto shredder facility by August 2014. The company announced that it will simultaneously install new sorting and recovery system at the facility.
According to company sources, installation of the new auto shredder will help to have more control over its business. The new auto shredder will save the costs of transporting the material to other locations. The company aims to build the auto shredder and the downstream sorting system on concrete.
Harmon Scrap Metal LLC offers complete recycling service for commercial and industrial clients as well as to the general public. Apart from Cornersville facility, Harmon has two other facilities in Hazelgreen and Athens in Alabama.
Along with upgrading the existing facilities, Harmon Scrap Metal LLC also considers adding to its number of facilities.
