A.C.Transport first started in 1985 with one semi trailer providing interstate household removals. Over the next two years the business purchased a second prime mover and trailer and secured a contract with Freedom Furniture to deliver their products on the eastern seaboard.The business continued to grow to three prime movers and six trailers. New freight contracts were awarded and we began to transport general freight including fragile and sensitive items for such companies as Brambles and Allied Pickford’s. By 2003 work progressed to remote locations around inland Australia and from there A.C.Transport began to specialize in providing services to locations where normal line haul carriers would not deliver.We now provide all sorts of transport services including regular supply runs and other project work including logistic co-ordination and relocation of land based gas and oil drillings rigs consisting of up to fifty semi trailer loads.Transport and Logistics services throughout Australia.Business arms include, specialised transport, equipment wet and dry hire, scrap metal services, primary industry services, environmental services (EPA approved).Involved in remote area work - currently involved in land based oil rig transportation. Service extends to include supply runs, waste services, dangerous goods storage and urgent (Hot Shot) services.Safety and Environmentally aware with excellent documentation base to cover and manage all business arms - including all standard policies and procedures, Journey Management Plans and well developed activity tracking and reporting tools.Full logistics services covering all areas of transport including over dimensional loads, interstate transport, permits etc.Qualified staff for specialised transport, pilot / escort work and equipment operation.NHVAS accreddited.Equipment includes loaders, floats, refridgerated containers, trailers, trucks, 4WD vehicles, etc.
