Swedish Glass Recycling is the best in the world at recycling glass. Today, we recycle over 90 percent of all glass packaging in Sweden. We are proud of that, because glass recycling is a way to take care of our environment and create a sustainable society.
Every weekday, we receive about 30-35 trucks with a total of 900 tons of glass packaging at our facility in Hammar. There we refine the old glass into new raw material. It is then used for new products that you benefit from and enjoy before they come back to us again.
For the glass cycle to work, we depend on you to leave your glass packaging at our collection points. What you do is important. For us. For the environment. And for future generations. Even though we are already good at glass recycling, we have a responsibility to become even better.
