As part of the initiative, a dedicated E-waste Green Box will be located in a visible area at all of its dealerships and VCMM plant. Customers are allowed to drop off any devices or components running on electricity or battery that can fit into the box. A few of the accepted devices include laptops, mobile phones, monitors, tablets, printer, keyboard, batteries and gaming consoles. ERTH will collect the e-waste and transport them to be recycled at local government-licensed recycling facilities.

As per latest government statistics, only around 25% of the country’s total electronic waste is responsibly recycled, whereas the remainder is often incinerated or dumped into landfills. The new collaboration is expected to encourage people to switch to proper recycling habits, thereby protecting our environment.
