US H1 scrap average prices held steady at $143.5 per long ton

ALBANY (Scrap Monster): The US H1 scrap average prices were at $143.50 per long ton, as on 16^th November, 2015. The prices held steady upon comparison with the previous week.

The average price of US H1 scrap in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Philadelphia was $143.50 per long ton, remaining flat when compared with the previous week. The scrap prices had averaged at $143.50 per long ton as on 9^th November, 2015.

The H1 scrap average price in Pittsburg was $139.50 per long ton.  The average price held steady when compared with the previous week’s price. In Chicago the prices averaged at $147.50 per long ton. The prices here too remained unchanged when matched with the previous week. The average price in Philadelphia was $143.50 per long ton. The prices here too remained flat when compared with the week before.

Meantime, the weekly crude steel dropped marginally by 1.1% during the week from November 7^th to November 14^th. The output declined by 17,000 short tons to 1.601 million short tons during the week.
