Tricor Group Announces New Partnership to Promote Paper Recycling

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Hong Kong-based Tricor Group announced that it has entered into partnership with a domestic recycler to launch a new initiative that aims to promote paper recycling. The new initiative is launched is supported by Mil Mill- the country’s first carton recycling plant.

According to news release by Tricor, the search for partnership commenced after the company began to look for ways to effectively recycle its office paper to pulp and paper products. The assessment carried out by the company had hinted at opportunities of repurposing paper scrap into paper towels and toilet paper, to be supplied at its various office locations.

As per the partnership deal, Mil Mill will collect paper scrap from Tricor offices, which will be converted into paper towels and toilet paper. These will be supplied to Tricor’s ITT and Hopewell offices. In addition, it will also be donated to organizations.

Joe Wan, CEO of Tricor Hong Kong noted that the paper recycling initiative will help the company to donate regenerated products to the needy. It supports the circular economy initiative for dealing with Hong Kong’s local wastes, which aims to continuously pass resources from one life cycle to another, he added.
