SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The Norway-headquartered Tomra Sorting Recycling announced opening of its new North American recycling facility. The new location in Charlotte, North Carolina will serve as the waste and metal recycling headquarters for North, South and Central American customers.
Carlos Manchado Atienza, regional director Americas for Tomra Sorting Inc. noted that the new office will focus solely on waste and metals sorting. It will help the company to expand its customer base in the Americas. Apart from the new East Coast recycling headquarters, the company already has offices dedicated to food and material sorting in West Sacramento, Englewood and Shelton.

The company new release said that the new office will serve as a hub for the company’s North American sales team. The sales and service teams in Mexico, Latin America and Brazil will use the new location for streamlining their efforts. Furthermore, the location will act as the centralized location to manage company’s recycling projects in the region.
TOMRA is a Norwegian multinational corporation that offers advanced collection and sorting solutions for resource optimization. It is the world’s largest Reverse Vending Machine provider.
