By becoming a partner of CPP, the APR commits to provide its industry perspective and technical expertise to support the CPP in helping it achieve its goals. It must be noted that the APR and CPP share the common goal of creating a circular economy for plastics. CPP joins the CPP’s network of over 98 partners from across the plastics value chain.
Steve Alexander, APR President & CEO stated that it will work together with CPP to achieve an effective and robust plastics recycling system in Canada and beyond. The internationally aligned and endorsed tools of APR will help to trigger important discussions and deliver committed solutions on managing post-consumer plastics, he added.
Meantime, Cher Mereweather, Managing Director, CPP noted that the inclusion of APR in its collaborative efforts marks a significant step forward in accelerating plastics recyclability. APR’s technical guidance and expertise for package design will provide huge boost to CPP’s actions, he added.
