SRS India E-Waste Recycling Facility Earns ISO Certification

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Sims Recycling Solutions (SRS) announced that its Noida, India facility earned prestigious ISO 27001:2013 certification. This is the first recycling facility in the country to be awarded this certification, which specifies stringent requirements on maintaining control of information security.

The certification ensures that all processes followed by the facility meet data security requirements. It reaffirms SRS’ clients that their end-of-life electronic assets are managed most securely.

Sean Magann, global vice president of SRS stated that SRS’ operational approach prioritizes security and uses globally accepted security protocols. The certification testifies the robust framework implemented at the facility to monitor, track and measure information security. SRS is committed to protecting data of the company and its clients, Magann added.

It must be noted that SRS’ facilities in, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United States and the Czech Republic are already ISO 27001 certified.

The SRS Noida facility provides responsible electronics and IT recycling services to organizations in and around Delhi.
