Market Drivers
Scrap Quality and Contamination Levels – The purity and sorting of scrap directly impact its market value. Clean, well-sorted non-ferrous scrap such as copper wire, aluminium, and brass fetch premium prices, while contaminated or mixed-grade materials are often discounted. Quality-conscious buyers are willing to pay more for scrap that is ready for immediate processing, emphasizing the importance of proper preparation and handling.
