24th July, 2024: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Posted Mixed Trend on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices surged higher on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on March 26^th, 2024, Tuesday. Copper Scrap prices too were up from the previous day. Stainless Steel prices declined, whereas Brass and Bronze, Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 200 per MT.

#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 200 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 200 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices edged higher by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery held steady when compared with the day before.

Copper Transformer scrap and Cu Yokes prices were flat on Index.

Cu/Al Radiators prices witnessed no change over the day.

Heater Cores prices edged higher by CNY 100 per MT on Index.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were unchanged on Wednesday, July 24^th, 2024.

Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices saw no change in prices.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT.

Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers witnessed no change on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices inched higher by CNY 50 per MT.

Old Cast and Old Sheet prices jumped higher by CNY 50 per MT each on July 24^th, 2024.

Meantime, UBC and Zorba 90%NF prices held steady on Index.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices were unchanged on 24^th July, 2024.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices too were flat on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS Solid prices declined by CNY 50 per MT each when compared with the prior day.

310 SS scrap prices too dropped by CNY 50 per MT on July 24^th, 2024.

Shred SS prices recorded no change over the day.        

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded no change from the previous day.

Brass Radiator scrap prices were unchanged on July 24^th, 2024.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices were flat on Index.
