17th June, 2022: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Dropped on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices declined sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on June 17^th, Friday. Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Brass/Bronze scrap prices dropped on Index when compared with the previous day. Meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down sharply by CNY 800 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too declined heavily by CNY 800 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have declined by CNY 400 per MT upon comparison with the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices recorded a down move of $ 200 per MT over the previous day.

Copper Transformer scrap prices inched lower by CNY 50 per MT on Index.

Cu Yokes and Harness Wire 35% Recovery scrap prices edged down by CNY 50 per MT each over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices declined by CNY 200 per MT.

Heater Cores prices too declined by CNY 300 per MT on Friday, June 17^th, 2022.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices dropped by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a dip by CNY 200 per Lb over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too were down by CNY 200 per MT on Index.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers declined by CNY 100 per MT each.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices dipped by CNY 200 per MT on Index.

Old Cast prices too were down by CNY 200 per MT on 17^th June, 2022.

The prices of Old Sheets dropped by CNY 200 per MT on Index.

UBC and Zorba 90% INF prices too recorded a decline by CNY 100 per MT from the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 17^th June, 2022.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS scrap prices dropped by CNY 200 per MT on Index.

304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices were down by CNY 250 per MT each over the day.

309 SS and 316 SS prices were down by CNY 300 per MT when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices dipped by CNY 400 per MT on June 17^th, 2022.

Shred SS prices too witnessed a decline by CNY 250 per MT over the day.  

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China declined on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices were down by CNY 100 per MT on June 17^th, 2022.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too dropped by CNY 150 per MT each on Index.
