SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Novelis Inc., the global leader in aluminum rolling and recycling, confirmed its participation in the upcoming Automotive Circle's first-ever Sustainability in Automobile Production conference. The event is scheduled to be held in Bad Nauheim, Germany on 29th and 30th November, this year.
The company, a sponsor of the event and an exhibitor, will present a roadmap for the sustainable use of aluminum in automobiles. It will provide details on the key role played by the metal in developing climate-neutral, environment-friendly automotive solutions. Jamie Zinser, Novelis' Vice President of Global Automotive is a speaker at the event. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session
Further to this, Novelis will present a free, one-hour long webinar titled "End-of-Life—A New Beginning in Automotive". Hosted by Novelis top executives, the webinar will be available on 6th December on company website. The webinar will focus on techniques to advance automotive circularity and promote scrap collection and sorting technologies by automakers to boost recycled content in vehicles, thus reducing overall carbon footprint of manufacturing process.
Novelis has been a major promoter of circular economy and it targets to become carbon neutral latest by 2050.
