Feng Hsin Iron & Steel to boost profit by producing high-end steel bars

TAIPEI (Scrap Monster): Taiwan’s Feng Hsin Iron & Steel, leading electric furnace steelmaker has decided to boost its profit by producing more high-end special steel bars.

Feng Hsin will upgrade its technology and import more high grade billet from Japan to support its high-end steel bar production.

Feng Hsin forecasted that its output in 2011 to be slightly higher than 1.6 million of 2010. 

Feng Hsin plans to raise its export, as its capacity will increase in 2012 with new reheat furnace and expanding continuous caster in his existing plant, Yieh Corp reported.
