US H1 Scrap average prices hit 3 month low

The United States average prices of H1 scrap in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Philadelphia were at US$304.17/long ton on October 8st, 2012, dropped by 43.33/long ton from a week ago and hitting the 3-month low.

NEW YORK (Scrap Monster): The United States average prices of H1 scrap in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Philadelphia were at US$304.17/long ton on October 8st, 2012, dropped by 43.33/long ton from a week ago and hitting the 3-month low.
Among them, the average H1 scrap prices in Pittsburgh were at US$299.5/long ton, decreased by US$50/long ton; that in Chicago was at US$309.5/long ton, declined by US$45/long ton and that in Philadelphia was at US$303.5/long ton, down by US$35/long ton, all compared to that in a week ago.
In the given period of time, the average H1 scrap in New York, Boston, and Houston were at US$275.83/long ton, dropped by US$30/long ton from the previous week.
