Turkey's steel pipe exports to the United States climbed strongly while exports to EU-27 countries generally declined sharply year- over- year in January 2012, said Turkey's Steel Exporters' Association.

ANKARA (Scrap Monster): Turkey's steel pipe exports to the United States climbed strongly while exports to EU-27 countries generally declined sharply year- over- year in January 2012, said Turkey's Steel Exporters' Association.
According to the association, Turkish total steel pipe export tumbled by 5.2% to 132,563 metric tons in year- over- year in January and down 16.15% month-over-month.
The revenue generated by exports declined 22.4% to $123 million tons in year- over- year in January and dip 3.2% month on month.
