India scrap metal prices rise

In Mumbai metal market, copper cable scrap and copper heavy scrap prices advanced to Rs 486000 per ton and Rs 477000 per ton on Tuesday from Rs 482000 per ton and Rs 474000 per ton previously.

MUMBAI (Scrap Monster): Indian scrap metal prices rose on Tuesday after the losses in the previous session.
In Mumbai metal market, copper cable scrap and copper heavy scrap prices advanced to Rs 486000 per ton and Rs 477000 per ton from Rs 482000 per ton and Rs 474000 per ton previously.
Copper utensil scrap prices rose by Rs 1000 per ton to Rs 443000 per ton and copper sheet cutting prices advanced by Rs 2000 per ton to Rs 465000 per ton.
However, copper armeture prices in Mumbai metal market moved down to Rs 468000 per ton on Tuesday from Rs 469000 per ton previously.
Brass utensil scrap, Brass sheet cuttings and Aluminum utensil scrap also traded higher in Mumbai metal market.
