India scrap metal prices decline

MUMBAI (Scrap Monster): Indian scrap metal prices fell on Monday, both in Mumbai and Delhi metal market.

In Mumbai metal market, copper heavy scrap prices declined by Rs 9000 per ton to Rs 475000 per ton and copper utensil scrap prices decreased by Rs 7000 per ton to Rs 443000 per ton on Monday.

Copper cable scrap, copper armetur and copper sheet cutting prices also ended in red in Mumbai metal market, declined to Rs 487000 per ton, Rs 467000 and Rs 464000 per ton, respectively.

In Delhi metal market, copper bars and copper rod prices slipped by Rs 8 per kg each to Rs 502 per kg and Rs 500 per kg while copper scrap prices declined by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 450 per kg.

However, tin ingots and nickel strip prices traded higher in Delhi metal market on Monday.
