As per the statistics released by the State Revenue Committee, the exports of aluminum foil from the country to the US surged during the first quarter of the year

WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster) : As per the statistics released by the State Revenue Committee, the exports of aluminum foil from the country to the US surged during the first quarter of the year.
The export of the 0,2 mm aluminum foil from the Republic of Armenia to the U.S. during the period from January to March this year has recorded a growth of about 24 percent in comparison with same period the previous year.
The total aluminum foil exports from Armenia to the US during the first three months of the year were 6,830,500 kg. The total exports to US during the first quarter of 2012 were 5,516,800 kg.
US accounted for majority of the aluminum exports from Armenia. The Republic of Armenia exported 6,984,100 kg of aluminum foil during the three months. Out of these 98% of the exports were to the US.
The total customs value of the aluminum foil exported to the United States during the first three months of the current year exceeded USD 21 million.
The Armenian aluminum foil production meets all international standards and is said to be in huge demand in the US.
